Cowans Branch Missionary Baptist Church was established in 1852. It is located approximately 6.5 miles from US HWY 23 in Weber City, VA. From the traffic light at Holston View Cemetery turn onto Yuma Road. Go approximately 6.5 miles to Shelton's Grocery, turn left onto Cowan Gap Tunnel Road. The church is located through the tunnel on the left. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist General Association of Virginia, and the Clinch Valley Baptist Association.
