Steps to Become a Christian

God Loves you. For god so loved the word that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

You have sinned. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

Sin separates you from God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Christ died for you. God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners. Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Repent of your sin. Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Acts 2:38

Believe that Jesus died for you sin and that He rose again. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10

Trust Jesus as your Savior. If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9-10.

Tell others what Jesus has done for you. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15

Live in ways that please God. If you love me, you will obey what I command. John 14:15
